What is Warhammer 40000?

I needed one for my journal. :) Unfortunately, once again, it's a subscriber only feature. You can always still fave it, if you want it on your page.

Thanks.

I find the juxtaposition of your name and your avatar to be really funny. :) Fear the diseased puppy.

yay 40k! Your GK are very nice, better than mine, i know how it feels to do more than 1 squad of GK termies at once. Painful

Those termies linked to in the post are ~Packmaster's, not mine. I play Guard.

Thanks for the fave. :)

Wheee! Nice one, I must have!

Got some 40k, too. Imperial Guard, and lots of Inquisition. A bunch of Inquisitors (must be half a dozen now..) with big retinue, around 40 man of the Interior Guard, and around 25 Grey Knights. More than 15 of that Terminators.

And damnit, I got to paint about 10 of them... sometimes... in the far future...

Fifteen Grey Knight Terminators? Good grief. Have you ever had them deep strike too close to an enemy unit? That would be like, what, 750 points down the drain with one roll? That's rediculous. :) But good thinking to put guard in there too, otherwise who knows how badly you'd be outnumbered. :)

Painting GKs does take a while, doesn't it? Intricate little models, they are. One of my buddies has an army of pure Grey Knights. Impressive looking when you get 'em finished, though.

Well, I try my very best in painting. But till now, they've always been loved on sight (except by the corrupted filth with the traitorus... oh, hello guys... :)).

Here's some of them. Enjoy!

Your Grey Knights are painted really well. You certainly paint better than me. :)

I don't have any recent pictures of my forces (1500 points of Imperial Guard, 500 points of Eldar), but I do have this old picture of my Falcon. The lighting is awful, I know, but you can see that I'm still a novice at layering. Practice will make me better though, hopefully.

I just can't muster the patience to paint dozens of guardsmen like that, so I mostly use ink washes and drybrushing on them.
